Sither
Full Name: Korthe Sither
Species: Saleange
Background: Korthe Sither (typically called just ‘Sither’) is a disgraced GASP geneticist who has taken up residence on Temtra’s Ship, The Rose.
Sither worked with GASP for several years, however he was disbarred from experimentation after it was deemed he was performing ‘immoral’ experiments.He then attempted to join The Freefrom Alliance, but was turned away for much the same reason.
Eventually he crossed sides and joined The Kayooshen, and since then he’s churned out everything from specially developed viruses to sentient, talking, monsters bred for close range (high loss) battle fields.
Sither is the official ‘Second in Command’ on The Rose, though it is widely known that it’s in title only. Sither typically immerses himself in his genetic work for long periods of time, leaving a ‘Staff Supervisor’ to deal with his daily duties as the Second.
A large portion of The Rose has been turned into a lab for Sither to perform his experiments, this may make the crew uncomfortable, but the skills Sither brings to the table are undeniable.
Sither is also his own, longest running, experiment. He’s grafted dozens of different genetic changes to his own body, including (but not limited to): The ability to stretch his limbs (and neck) to huge lengths, he’s sharpened both his teeth and claws and increased their strength, and he’s also taken his species naturally formed, slightly acidic, saliva and made it more powerful than sulfuric acid…and he’s able to fire it long distances.
